The mission of the Get It Together Mentoring Program is to empower youth from various communities in Chicago to make better life choices through: workshops, volunteerism and wide- ranging activities.
We envision an environment in which youth are motivated and inspired to reach their highest potential while impacting others around them to do the same.
We offer:
*Tutoring and Homework Help
*Volunteerism Experiences
*A range of outings and activities:
–Dance
–Arts & Crafts
–Hygiene, Cooking & Etiquette Workshops/ Classes
–Family Nights
In order to enroll & remain active in the program, participants must:
*Be enrolled in school
*Maintain at least a 95% attendance rate
*Maintain at least a “C” average
*Attend monthly meetings
*Complete 3-5 hours of community service per month
*Participate in monthly fundraising activities
